  • Results of the School Start Times Survey are now available to the public. Please see attached analysis.

    Nyack's BOE and the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. James Montesano, are dedicated to keeping our community informed.

    Please see the attached analysis of the survey entitled "Examining School Start Times: What Do YOU Think?" which was distributed to District parents, guardians and high school students February - March of 2018.  A total of 1,697 responses were received.

  • The Board of Education has approved the School District Calendar for 2018-19.

    The approved District calendar for the 2018-19 school year has been emailed to all District staff and families, upon BOE approval at the March 20th School Board Meeting.  It can be found on the District website in the navigation bar under "About Us" > Calendars and has been uploaded to this announcement.

  • A Letter from the Superintendent was emailed to parents/guardians RE: students' use of District-approved internet applications and webtools

    Nyack Public Schools utilizes certain internet-based applications (commonly referred to as "apps") and webtools to provide effective educational resources for students.  A list of District-approved apps and webtools, with the privacy policy for each, can be found on the District website  under Parent Resources > Bill of Rights > Information Regarding Other Applications & Webtools. 

    Please note that this listing will be updated throughout the year as apps and webtools are added or deleted, with District approval.

The Nyack High School Music Department has continuously delivered exceptional programming and quality performances. We feature a variety of ensembles that provide students of all abilities to participate in our program. The latest addition of our Inspire Nyack Mac Lab has allowed us to provide courses in Music Technology, Piano, and an enhanced Music Theory Experience.
