  • The District's 2017-18 Budget was passed by the community on May 16, 2017. The verified results will be accepted at the June 6 BOE meeting.

    Congratulations to the elected Board of Education candidates:  Beth Davidson, Jen Marraccino and James Marshall.  Their three year terms commence July 1, 2017.

  • The 2017-18 School Calendar has been REVISED, as approved at the May 2, 2017 BOE Meeting

    The revisions include a one-day earlier  Start Date to school on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017; and different dates for Spring Recess beginning Friday, March 30 thru Friday, April 6, 2018.

    The revised version has been attached, below, and emailed to staff and families District-wide via Peachjar and Parent Portal accounts.

  • An important letter to parents and guardians regarding the popular Netflix series "13 Reasons Why" has been sent by the Superintendent...

    The letter, dated April 24th, 2017, is accompanied by a document from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) that contains information for parents and guardians to read and take into consideration. Our District recognizes that schools have "an important role in preventing youth suicide, and being aware of potential risk factors in students' lives is vital to this responsibility."   Feel free to contact Dr. Montesano's office should you need more information or support.

  • Kindergarten Registration is now OPEN. Children who turn 5 years of age by December 1, 2017 are eligible to register.

    To find out how to register your incoming Kindergartner, please go to our District homepage at www.nyackschools.org; click on "Parent Resources" at the top of the page in the Navigation Bar; scroll down and click on "Registration".  Follow the directions for online registration.  Once you have registered online OR if you have any questions regarding the process, please contact the District's Registrar's Office at 353 - 7038 to make an appointment.  Thank you.

  • REMINDER Regarding the District's NEW Media Release Opt-Out Form and Protocol

    Parents and Guardians: the District has a NEW Media Release/Opt Out protocol that will go into effect this month, October, 2016.  All parents/guardians should have received the attached letter in their summer mailing  that  included  a September 26th deadline for any "Opt Outs".   Parents/guardians who do not wish their child's photograph to be featured on our new websites must have checked the appropriate boxes on this form and have sent it back to their child's school.  Please call the District's Office of Public Relations at (845) 353-7013 with any questions regarding this new protocol.  The Media Opt Out Form is one that can be filled out at any time but must be kept at the school building level for easy access by staff and to ensure that the protocol  is effectively followed. The District looks forward to celebrating daily accomplishments and sharing them via posts to our new District sites.

MyPaymentsPlus Information

MyPaymentsPlus online payment plan for school lunches:
The District participates in this convenient program, which allows you to manage your child's meal account online. Log into www.mypaymentsplus.comand deposit funds directly into an account. You must have your student's ID number* (obtained from your child's school or report card.) You can then monitor balances or your student's purchases online.  MyPaymentPlus charges a fee of 4.75% of the transaction amount each time a deposit is made.

*Important Information about logging on with your child's student ID number:
All student passwords require 7-digits.  If your child's student ID number is less than 7 digits, you must enter zeros in front of the ID number in order to log in.  Therefore, if your child's ID number is 1234, your password will be 0001234.
