Board of Education

Nyack Public Schools Board of Education (BOE) seven trustees are elected by district constituents and represent the school community at large. They are committed to representing the school community and according to the district’s mission and vision. Our BOE encourages community engagement with access to monthly Board meetings that are open to the public, posted on the district website and district calendar on specified Tuesdays each month. 

The board is responsible for overseeing the finances of the district,hiring the superintendent of schools,evaluating the superintendent annually,and setting policy.
