  NMS History Club students Lily Weber, Caitlin Furey, Christine Vozzo, Sam Ambers, Casey Waite, Julia Tighe & Jake Giordano participated in the National History Day Competition with their teachers, Nina Labrada and Rob Wisner.
Eighth graders, Rishab Khandu & Timothy Matthew placed second in the documentary division, advancing to NY State competition.
 NMS Science Olympiad Team competed at the Lower Hudson Valley Regional Competition placing ninth overall and earning 8 medals with top ten finishes in 5 events. Congratulations to Justin Cracovia, Lucy Jiao, Meghan Langford, Aidan Sacci, Madison Speakman, Lea Spatz, Esther Kim, Justin Kimbrough, Timothy Matthew, Dominique Varier, Ethan Kim and Val Nilan.  Special thanks to all the fabulous teachers involved:  Cathy Van Saun, Art Brown, Joe Boacassi, Vincent Magliulu, Karen Nilan and Karl Mattsen for moderating the team.

Congratulations to Brooklyn Grossbard, senior at Nyack High School, named as semi-finalist in the Intel Talent Search 2015, the nation's oldest, most prestigious pre-college science & math competition!

 Nyack High School is 1 of 547 high schools in the U.S.& Canada honored by the College Board for placement on the 5th Annual AP Honor Roll for increasing access to AP courses while also maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning 3 or higher on exam.
